A Mother after Yahweh's Heart

Quite possibly, the most exemplary mother in the Old Testament is Hannah. What comes to your mind when you think of a mother? What characteristics would you want to see? In Hannah, there are three characteristics. She is a worshiper, faithful to God, and selfless. What is most remarkable about Hannah is that everything she did was directed to Yahweh God. Her example before her son, Samuel, would be remembered for his entire life. The short time that she had him was impactful. She was also a keeper of her vow to Yahweh until the very end. All of these traits are what make up an exemplarly mother.
