Ephesians 4:25-28

After giving the general nature of laying aside the old person and putting on the new, Paul extends the putting on of the new person to several practical and visible manifestations. In short, putting on the new is going to cause a Christian to be quite distinct from the world. Paul gives 8 distinctives for the new person. The new person is not a liar, a truth teller, righteously angry, does not sin in anger, is not persuaded by the devil, does not steal, works hard, and gives generously out of the fruits of his labor.  In this sermon, these 8 distinctives are fleshed out in today's modern context. It goes to show that these distinctives never run out of style and are always true of every Christian in every age.
