Standing with Perseverance

Continuing with the armor of God come two pieces that are blatantly dependent upon God being at the core. It is He who opens our eyes to the light of the gospel. He is the object of our faith. Two things stand out in this text, first, God prepares every Christian to stand firm with proper footing when the enemy attacks, and second, God gives the shield of faith to cover our entire person. When we have faith in God, He promises to give the power to withstand the fiery arrows of the evil one.
