Defining Biblical Stewardship

Beginning a 4-part series on stewardship it is imperative that the focus is first on defining what stewardship is. In this sermon, stewardship is defined by understanding that God gives everything, He commands us to manage it, and we are to do so in faithfulness. It is with this truth and attitude that stewardship of every kind takes place. Several texts from the Old Testament are used to demonstrate this point. Additionally, stewardship is not only in terms of finances. Stewardship is a way of life.
