Overcoming the Curse

The good news of the gospel and the resurrection of Jesus Christ starts shortly after the sin of man. In Genesis 3:15, the first Messianic prophecy is brought forth. In His crushing of the head of the serpent, He does away with sin and with death. It was always the plan of God to defeat sin and death. In the New Testament this is fulfilled in the death and resurrection of Christ. This is what the empty tomb is all about, the conquering of my sin and yours.
