The Struggle is Real

The apostle Paul gives specific details in who the enemy is. He offers one negative and four positives in terms of who the enemy is. Christians must be careful that we do not have our eyes fixed on the material world only. The spiritual realm is busy and active. Paul explicitly tells us that the material world and the spiritual work hand in hand. The demonic realm influences the material world and great wickedness and sin abound in great measure. Therefore, the question for us today is "how often do we consider the weight of the spiritual world as it impacts our lives?" The devil wants nothing more than for, you, dear Christian to be distracted by every worldly force and forget that he is at work. Demons are at work causing a gross perpetual enjoyment of sin. Keeping us lax, entertained, and spiritual sloths is the aim of the forces of spiritual darkness. With all this in mind, we bear the armor of God that we can withstand the wiles of the enemy!
