Everlasting Access

Paul concludes the interruption of himself that began in verse 2. He continues from what he wrote in verses 8-10 with an emphasis on the access that Christians have with God through faith in Jesus Christ. Every Christian has unhindered access to God at any point, and this is what Paul says to bring the Ephesians to rejoice in Paul's affliction. It is in affliction that Christ brought forth the gospel through Paul. As affliction continues today we can take comfort that Christ will comfort us and be with us.
