Paul concludes his prayer at the hightest of extents. He continues his fixation upon the inner being of man. This time he associates the love of Christ with being filled up to the fullness of God. Amazingly, God's love is knowable by Christians, but His love is also surpassing. God Himself is surpassing, for He is far greater than any human is. Paul is at the greatest height in his prayer as he looks to the vast and grandeur nature of who God is. It is God who is powerful in order to fill us up as we are emptied of our sin and rebellion. The question is that every Christian can take home is, "what needs to be emptied from you in order to be filled with God?" That is the end in which Paul looks to in the conclusion of his prayer.
